Welcome to rent a unit kayak from the paddling container. The paddling container is located in Juurikkasaari, Säynätsalo, near Jyväskylä.

Rental is done on your own. See below for instructions on how to book a kayak, safety instructions, how to operate a kayak, and rental terms. You can also book a personal quick guide to get out on the water. An official online store is coming soon, in the meantime, rental is done via a form.

Rental instructions
1. Choose a kayak for yourself:Easy stable: Rainbow Oasis 4.3 Expedition (5 pcs): A sturdy, stable, basic kayak for beginners. Best for day trips, but with compact equipment, weekend trips are also possible.
4-point footrests, cover net.
Length: 430cm, Width: 63cm, Weight: 20kg, Seat opening size: 86x47cm
Paddler size: SL (50-100kg)
Easy stable, big: Rainbow Oasis 4.3 Max Expedition (Yellow 2pcs): For larger sizes. A sturdy, stable, basic kayak for beginners. At its best especially for day trips, but with compact equipment, weekend trips are also possible.4-point footrests, cover net.

2. Click on the rental yourself to the online store here. Choose a date, time and kayak. Confirm your booking and you will receive payment instructions and information by email. (If you want to kayak for more than 3 hours, choose a daily rental. It always gives you a time between 10 am and 10 pm, if you want to change the times, just add a message to the booking. )3. Booking conditions in brief:
Renters must be of legal age (18 years or older). Those younger than that can only participate with a guardian or with their written permission.Rental only for people who can swim. A life jacket is used when paddling, which does not turn the face of a person who cannot swim away from the water.
The renter must have previous experience in kayaking and using similar equipment. Kayaking safety instructionsIn case of strong wind and rain, cancellation is free of charge if you have not paid for the rental yet.
4. Activities on the kayak before kayaking:
You will receive a kayaking container code by email. Select the kayak you have reserved from the container. RTM kayaks on the floor; two on the floor, one on the bottom right shelf, Oasis on the shelves, Oasis maxis yellow. Bring a paddle, a cover and a life jacket. Remember to lock the container door. Carry the kayak with a friend to the pier or sandy beach.5. While paddling:
Remember the safety instructions. Avoid dragging the kayak on land. The bottom of the kayak may break. Pay attention to the weather and react to changes in time.
6. After paddling:
Clean and dry the kayak, close the cargo hatches and place the kayak in its place as it was. Put the borrowed equipment in its place. Finally, remember to lock the container door.
