Sunset kayaking
21.8.2026
4.9.2026
On the canoeing trip, we enjoyed the sunset over the horizon and sensed how nature settles into the night. We may get to spot several different water birds and perhaps other animals as well.
On Lake Päijänne, you can admire the sunset from Juurikkasaari, go around Säynätsalo and admire the cliffs of Kaakkosaari. There is certainly enough to see and experience for everyone from beginners to experienced paddlers.
During the canoeing trip, there will be a long break on a deserted island.
Difficulty level of the kayaking trip:
Easy, also suitable for less experienced kayakers. The speed of the kayaking trip is adjusted according to the experience of paddlers and weather condition. Participants must be able to swim. Persons under 18 years of age may participate in kayaking only with a guardian or with written permission.
