An easy afternoon kayaking trip on Lake Päijänne
The afternoon trip is a guided, relaxing trip on Lake Päijänne near Juurikkasaari. At the beginning of the trip, you will be given a guide to kayaking and safety. At the end of the kayaking, you can enjoy a gentle steam bath in the lakeside sauna if you wish. You will need to bring your swimsuit for the mixed sauna. Food and refreshments are also available on the summer terrace.

Difficulty level of the kayaking trip:
Helppo, soveltuu myös kokemattomalle. Melontaretken vauhti sovitetaan melojien kunnon, kokemuksen ja sään mukaan. Osallistujien on osattava uida. Alle 18 vuotiaat voivat osallistua melontaan vain huoltajan seurassa tai kirjallisella luvalla.

The canoeing trip lasts approximately 1.5 hours and the paddling distance is approximately 3-6 km.
Safety:
If weather conditions (wind speed over 8 m/s) do not allow the safe implementation of the kayaking trip, we reserve the right to change and, if necessary, shorten the excursion program or change the date of the excursion. The canoeing instructor, trained by the Finnish Canoeing and Rowing Federation, has a valid EA1 & EA2 card, a tourism safety passport (MaTuPa) and a hygiene passport.
