Come try ice climbing!
Welcome to ice climbing! Ice climbing trials are organized in Central Finland, in Jyväskylä, in front of the old Pönttövuori railway tunnel. Approximately 20 km from Jyväskylä in the direction of Kuopio.
Ice climbing is surprisingly exciting and fun.
All you need is clothes suitable for the weather and a keen sense of outdoor activities. No previous climbing experience is required. Anyone with basic fitness will be able to do the sport and will be able to challenge themselves. Ice climbing uses picks and climbing irons attached to shoes/boots. You are safely attached to the harness and rope by trained instructors. The equipment will be provided by the organizer. During the ice climbing, you will be able to admire nature's ice art and enjoy snacks during breaks.

The price of the ice climbing experience is 70e/person.

Climbing weather reservation due to severe frost. If severe frost is expected, the event will be postponed to another time. Minimum number of participants 4 people, maximum 8 people.
The minimum age for events is 15 years.
Participants are not insured by the organizer, participation is at your own risk. It is a good idea to have your own accident insurance and check if it covers the climb.
